Stuart J. Hangac, Sr. passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Stuart was born in Yonkers, NY on May 28, 1942 to John and Jennie Hangac. He attended Westchester Community College where he would eventually meet his future wife Francine. Stuart and Francine were married on August 8, 1964. They moved to North Salem, NY in 1968 where they would raise their three children and live for almost 50 years before moving to New Milford, CT in 2017. Stuart owned and operated The Windshield Wizard based in Westchester County for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, working in his shop (he could fix anything), and spending time with his family. He found happiness and excitement in each and every day that he lived. His bright smile and positive outlook will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Stuart is survived by his beloved wife Francine, his three children, daughter, Jeannine Wardlow (husband Tom), son, Stuart J. Hangac, Jr. (wife Kristina), and daughter Lori Hangac, seven grandchildren: Ruby, James, Jacob, Hudson, Allyssa, Lyla and Jake, a sister Evelyn Schoonmaker, and nieces and nephews.
