Timothy R. Day of New Milford, CT, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday July 22, 2017 at the age of 46.
He was born in New Milford, CT, October 25, 1970 son of Carlton T. Day of New Hampshire and Susan (Bailey) Harris of Cornwall Bridge , CT.
All who loved and knew Tim will miss his friendship, humor and willingness to help those in need. He recently became Owner/Operator of Tim Day Trucking and was “Living the Dream” in the past two months of his life. His love for Farmall tractors and a pristine lawn were his passions. To know Tim was to love him, a very special guy.
Besides his mother and father he leaves behind his beloved Keri Bucceri and her daughter Karleigh, stepfather Scott Harris, sister Alison Day and Edgar McKenna of Danbury, CT; aunts and uncles including Mimi Seegers (Hank) of Warren, CT, Nancy Kowalski (Tom) of Southbury, CT, Barbara Halstead of Sandy Hook, CT, Jean Calsada (Rich) of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard Bailey of Newtown, CT; and cousins Tom, Sarah, Matt, Karin, Krista and B.J. He also leaves behind for all intents and purposes his son Cody Wilson, whom he loved and adored for sixteen years. He was predeceased by his grandparents Donald and Betty Bailey and Carlton and Laura Day.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be private. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please refer to the Lillis Funeral Home website in the future for the date and time.
