Meyerholz, Leo E.

Leo E. Meyerholz of New Milford, CT, passed away at home on Sunday June 4, 2017 at the age of 89.
He was born December 24, 1927 in Danbury, CT, son of the late Arthur and Helen (Reynolds) Meyerholz. Mr. Meyerholz served with the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked at Republic Foil in Danbury, CT, for 42 years before retiring in 1990. In February of 1994 he married Ann Dratch in New Milford where they have lived for the past 23 years. He was a member of the VFW Post and Catholic War Veterans both in Danbury, CT and was a diehard Yankee and Giant fan. He also was a big Bill Parcells fan and enjoyed watching all the teams he coached.
Besides his wife Ann of New Milford he is survived by his sons Lee Meyerholz and his wife Stella of Mahopac, NY and Scot Meyerholz of Walton, NY, a daughter Diane Meyerholz of Palm Coast, FL, step children Joseph Indrisek of Litchfield, CT and Maryann Ness and her husband Mike of New Milford, CT, grandchildren; James Meyerholz and his wife Nancy, Steven Meyerholz, Tanya Meyerholz, Krystal Hart, Brad Ness and Brett and Ashley Indrisek and five great grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday June 9, 2017 at Our Lady of The Lakes Church in New Milford, CT, at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
