Pike, Patricia M.

Patricia McFall Pike, formerly of Albany GA, passed away Thursday May 25, 2017 in New Milford, CT, at the age of 81. Patricia was born March 22, 1936 in Manchester, GA to the late James Otis and Rose Lee (Dobbs) McFall. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1955 and then attended Georgia State Business College before marrying William Henry Pike on April 11,1958 in Manchester, GA. Mrs. Pike, known to close friends and family as “Nana”, was vivacious and outgoing. She engaged in a variety of artistic and entrepreneurial pursuits, from designing jewelry for Avon and painting wall-sized murals to operating insurance and real estate agencies. Mrs. Pike’s grandchildren—particularly her granddaughters Jordan Ryder and Savannah Pounds—are delighted to have inherited her artistic talents. After retiring from her business pursuits, Mrs. Pike was an avid participant in the Albany GA “Take Off Pounds Sensibly” (TOPS) club #0245, where she served multiple terms as club president. As an only child and grand-daughter, Mrs. Pike opened her home and graciously ministered to her parents and each of her mother’s siblings during their declining years. Patricia moved from Albany, GA, to New Milford, CT, after the death of husband, William H Pike, in 2014. Mrs. Pike was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). Mrs. Pike is survived by Her children;Tony Winter (Zack Berbary) of Buffalo, NY, Lorraine Bunch (Bobby Bunch) of Hermitage, MO, and Rosemary Warnes (Gregory Warnes) of New Milford, CT, Her grandchildren; William Hubble, Savannah Pounds, Jordan Ryder, and TJ Winter And great grandchildren; Sunny Hubble, Lilly Pounds, Aria Pounds, and Kamilla Rose Ryder. Mrs. Pike will be interred beside her husband William at Meriwether Memory Gardens in Manchester, GA. In Connecticut, calling hours will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday May 28 2017 at Lillis Funeral Home at 58 Bridge St., New Milford, CT. In Georgia, calling hours (12pm) and funeral service (2pm) will be held at the Cox Funeral Home, 93 Prather Barnes Rd., Manchester, GA. Contributions in the memory of Mrs. Pike may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN
