Muehlenbein, Beverly M.

Beverly M. Muehlenbein of New Milford, CT, passed away Friday January 6, 2017  at Danbury Hospital at the age of 82 after a brief illness.

She was born April 27, 1934 in Neenah, WI, daughter of the late Alvin and Ethel (Sutton) Manteufel. Mrs. Muehlenbein graduated from Neenah High School in 1952 and on February 11, 1956 she married Robert H. Muehlenbein in Menasha, WI. They moved to New Milford, CT, in 1958. Mrs. Muehlenbein was a member of the Bridgewater Grange in Bridgewater, CT, St. Francis Xavier and Our Lady of The Lakes Alter Society and Rosary Society.

Mrs. Muehlenbein was predeceased by her husband Robert on June 20, 1985. She is survived by her two sons; Kenneth Muehlenbein and his wife Lena of New Milford, CT, Patrick Muehlenbein of Bethel, CT, her daughters; Catherine Kokinchak and her husband Thomas of Newtown, CT, Donna Bradley and her husband Jared of Sandy Hook, CT, Peggy Muehlenbein of New Milford, CT her brothers; Julius Manteufel of Aniwa, WI, Robert Manteufel of Neenah, WI, Dale Manteufel of Hortonville, WI, her sisters; Helen Johnson of 29 Palms, CA, Sylvia Sturgis and Lois Zemlock both of Neenah, WI, her grandchildren;  Robert E. and Brian C. Muehlenbein and Andrew Kokinchak, great grandchildren Damian Muehlenbein and Henley Kokinchak.

She was predeceased by her brothers Raymond and Merlin and her sister Mildred.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday January 16, 2017 at 10:00am at our Lady of The Lakes Church in New Milford, CT. Interment will take place at St. Francis Cemetery in New Milford in the Spring. Calling hours will be held Sunday January 15, 2017 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT.
