Quirk, Marguerite D.

Marguerite D. Quirk, 74, of New Milford, CT, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 2, 2016.

Mrs. Quirk was born in Bronx, New York, September 14, 1942, daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerite (Dorsey) Cuoco.

She was a resident of New Milford since 2001, formerly living in the Bronx, North Salem and Wingdale New York. Mrs. Quirk graduated from Mercy College in Yorktown, NY with a B.S. in Psychology in 1992. She was an   office manager in the Edgemont School District for many years, and then continued to work as a driver for Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy in Brewster, NY until retiring in 2006.

Mrs. Quirk is survived by two sons, Peter Quirk and Gerard Quirk and his wife Martha, two daughters, Valerie Kurtz and her husband James  and Laura Wyckoff, all of Wingdale, New York. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Gerard, Anthony, Andrew , Amanda, Brittany, Allison, Michaela, Peter, Michael, Jason,  and a sister, Joan Milroy of Scottsdale, Arizona. She was predeceased by a sister, Cathleen Steeprock. Her beloved cat and faithful companion, Sherbert, has been adopted by her daughter Valerie.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm with a service at 7:30pm at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street. New Milford, CT.
