Servillo, Carol A.

Carol A. Servillo of New Milford, CT, died Thursday February 25, 2016 in Danbury, CT, at the age of 59.
She was born August 28, 1956 in Yonkers, NY, daughter of the late John and Lynn (Erhart) Selinka.  After graduating from the Flushing School of Nursing in Queens, NY in 1977, she worked as an E.R. Nurse at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, NY until 1991, when she moved to New Milford, CT, and  began working as an E.R. Nurse in New Milford Hospital until she retired in 2005. Mrs. Servillo was a devoted wife to her husband Frank Servillo who she married on July 9, 1989 in Briar Cliff, NY. She was a dedicated Mom and was known as a very caring and compassionate E.R. Nurse. Mrs. Servillo loved music and was a big fan of Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.
Besides her husband Frank of New Milford she is survived by her daughters Jaclyn Servillo of New Milford, CT and Krysten Lopez and her husband Gustavo of Danbury, CT, a brother John Selinka and his wife Priscilla  of Pleasantville, NY, two sisters Janet Allsworth and her husband Ken of New Milford, CT, Alyssa Ness and her husband Rod of New Milford, CT, her grandchildren Ryan and Kyla, her nieces and nephews Justin and Kate, Jessica and Brian, Zachary, Jacob, Kellen and great niece Laura. She is also survived by her dear friend Eleshia Monahan of New Milford. One of the happiest times in Carol’s life was when she became Krysten and Jaclyn’s mother. Jaclyn could always be found at Carol’s side. Jaclyn was and will always remain Carol’s pride and joy. In recent years her pride grew with the arrival of her grandchildren. Family was most important to Carol as was shown by her unending devotion to her parents and siblings. Forever in our hearts.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday February 27, 2016 from 2 to 4pm at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT. Internment will be private.
