Fahrbach, Rudolf

Rudolf Fahrbach of New Milford, CT, died Sunday November 1, 2015 at Regional Hospice and Home Care in Danbury, CT, at the age of 90.
He was born May 23, 1925 in Neckarweihigen, Germany son of the late Otto Fahrbach and Maria Diaker.  He moved to the United States in 1950 and settled in Irvington, NJ.  After being ordained in 1957, Mr. Fahrbach served as a minister in the New Apostolic Church in the Northern NJ area for over thirty years before retiring in 1990.  In 1994 he moved from NJ to continue his work as a design engineer for Jovil Manufacturing in Danbury, CT, until he retired in 2010.  On August 26, 1995 he married Jean Lewis and made New Milford, CT, their home.  Mr. Fahrbach was a member of the New Apostolic Church, Main Street, New Milford.
Besides his wife, Jean Fahrbach, Mr. Fahrbach is survived by his son Timothy Fahrbach and his wife Joanne of Cicero, NY, his daughter Robin Hofmann and her husband Gary of Oakland, NJ, and his three grandchildren Stephanie Fahrbach and Kyle and Ryan Hofmann.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, 12 noon at the New Apostolic Church, Main Street, New Milford, CT 06776.  There are no calling hours and the internment will be private.
Arrangements were handled by the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT.  In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the New Apostolic Church, Main Street, New Milford.
