John M. Young, 60 years young passed away on Aug. 18th, 2015 at his second home Danbury Hospital.
John met Beth at Danbury Hospital over 30 years ago, during which time they married and had their two beautiful daughters Hannah and Tessa. John passed away peacefully surrounded by his adoring family.
John was quite possibly the best, and kindest, person you could meet. A registered nurse for 30 years, John saved countless lives, mentored 100’s of nurses but most importantly shared his gift of love, and humanity both with his patients, colleagues, friends, and family. He was truly one of a kind, as one of his colleagues said, “God broke the mold when he made John.”
Adored by 100’s of hospital staff who became their family and cared for him over the past year. It is a huge loss to no longer have John physically with us, but those that love him know that he’s already in heaven, begging Peter to take the next admit, and care for the sickly on Cloud 9.
To the most soulful, supportive husband, father, best friend, partner and nurse ….you will be forever a part of us and the many lives you touched. Thank you for sharing your loving spirit with us each and everyday. We love you baby!
